The ASICS GEL-NUNOBIKI sneaker draws inspiration from Nunobiki Falls and the scenic mountain landscapes of Kobe, Japan, blending outdoor-inspired textures with a modern urban trail aesthetic. Its layered upper combines matte and semi-gloss synthetic materials inspired by the GEL-KAHANA 3 and GEL-TARGET, while transparent laces and a layered back counter add a contemporary finish. Rearfoot GEL technology enhances impact absorption, and the trail-specific outsole pattern provides improved grip across various surfaces. At least 20% of the upper’s synthetic leather is made with recycled materials.
