The New Balance 9060 is a bold expression of refined style and innovation-driven design, making the 99X series home to some of the most iconic models in New Balance history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements from classic 99X silhouettes with a distorted, futuristic aesthetic inspired by the proud, visible design of the Y2K era. The sway bar, borrowed from the 990, has been expanded across the entire upper to create a sense of dynamic, visible movement, while the exaggerated wavy lines and enlarged proportions on the pod-style midsole emphasize the cushioning platform in a striking way. Featuring a synthetic upper and a dual-density midsole with ABZORB and SBS cushioning, the shoe delivers superior comfort and impact protection. The tongue logo is inspired by the original 991 lace jewel, and the diamond-patterned outsole takes cues from the classic 860 design, with laces providing a secure, adjustable fit.
